Magical Summer Nights and Enchanting Ice (in Finnish: Kesäyön taikaa ja jään lumoa) exhibition consists of landscape photographs that I have taken during the last four years. In the summer night photos, I have tried to capture the mystical light at the border of day and night. In the winter photos, the sunlight has lit the ice to its enchanting shine. The water in different forms is common to all of the photographs; sea, lake or river view is often complemented by fog, ice or frost.

Most of the photographs are from Helsinki, where the southern tip of Lauttasaari is my favorite place to photograph seascapes and sunsets.

Some of the winter photos are also from Suomenlinna and River Vantaa. A big part of summer night photographs are from the northern part of Finland, i.e. from Kuusamo and Suomussalmi.

This exhibition was first time on display in September 2006 in Studio Anne (in Perhonkatu, Helsinki). This exhibition was also on display in Finlandia Hall on 22.10.2007 during the The Nature Photograph of the Year event (in Finnish).
