Buying or Licencing Images

All images displayed in this website (i.e. also images that are not available through Kuvalo) are available for purchase. You can either buy print or licence the electronic image for your use (images in event galleries can be purchased only by the organizers of the event, event participants, or for licenced to editorial use). The prints, delivered directly by me, are available only unmatted. As the images have been taken with various cameras and in some case cropped, the available maximum sizes vary. The general guidelines for different cameras are (used camera is listed below each image):

To place an order for print or to licence image for your use, just send an email to me. Please include a reference to the image you are interested in (gallery name and filename, or direct link to that image page), and the size you want. I will typically reply to you within few days and confirm whether the size that you want is available.

Exhibitions

In September 2006 I had Magical Summer Nights and Enchanting Ice exhibition in Helsinki (in Studio Anne). The best photographs of this exhibition were also on display in Finlandia Hall on 22.10.2007 during the The Nature Photograph of the Year event (in Finnish). All prints of this exhibition (in Finnish) are available as limited edition photographs.

In October 2008 I had At the Borders of Sky and Earth (in Finnish: Taivaan ja maan rajoilla) exhibition in Finlandia Hall during The Nature Photograph of the Year event (in Finnish). Most of the photos were taken in Finland, but the exhibition included also photos from New Zealand, Scotland, and Norway. Main theme of the exhibition was the border between sky and earth. The water in different forms was also common to all photographs. All prints of this exhibition are available as limited edition photographs.

The print prices for nature and landscape photographs (including postage) for Europe are:

For event photographs, please contact me for the price. Note also that many of the event photographs are not available in the bigger sizes.

Print quality

The prints are real photographs made to  photography paper, with same durability as traditional prints. Note that because some images have different aspect ratios, the prints can vary slightly from the paper size dimensions listed. Images are in that case printed as large as possible to fit within the paper size selected.

Licencing images

For licensing prices for different uses, please contact me directly. Please note that I do not have model or property releases for any of the images displayed in these pages. Thus the use of images containing identifiable persons or property is limited to editorial used.

Payment methods

The possible payment methods are Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.) for many European countries (see the above table) or advance payment to my bank account. For advance payment, I will send you BIC/SWIFT number for my bank and IBAN number for my bank account (with this information, according to EU rules, the electronic transfer within EU shall not cost more than transfer within one country).

Delivery time

Prints are usually ready to ship within 2-3 weeks after your payment has been received. Within Europe, the delivery of prints takes typically 5-10 days. In case of licensing, the electronic image can be sent by email (or by mail on CD) as soon as payment is received. For old customers, I will send them immediately after I have confirmed your order.
