This was the eight year when I was photographing the Helsinki Samba Carnaval (the first year was 2003). This year Helsinki Samba Carnaval celebrated it´s 20th anniversary, and all seven samba schools created one big parade together. This was also the second year when I was taking photos for the The Association of Finnish Samba Schools (SSKL), and some of my photos are already used as press photos. Being the official photographer had the benefit that I could move freely in the parade area. I had not any more need to fight about space with other photographers in the best spots ;)

The Finnish Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Championships (Joukkuevoimistelun SM-kilpailut 2010) were arranged few weeks ago. These two galleries show the junior teams. Mimodes won the 16-18 years age group and Fosforit won the 14-16 years age group.
